Bernedoodles are an increasingly popular hybrid breed of dog, known for being highly intelligent and loyal companions. The Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, typically the Standard or Miniature variety. This combination creates an unique breed that often exhibits the best characteristics of both parent breeds; intelligence, playfulness, trainability and low-shedding coats. Bernedoodles tend to have a more predictable size than purebred dogs, as well as a longer life span and fewer health issues due to their hybrid vigor.
Due to their intelligence, Bernedoodles are one of the easiest breeds to train and can learn commands quickly. They also respond very well to positive reinforcement techniques such as clicker training. Bernedoodles are very people-oriented dogs and thrive on human companionship, making them an ideal pet for families and individuals alike.
Bernedoodles generally have a low- to no-shedding coat, which makes them an excellent choice for those with allergies or asthma. This also means they require regular grooming in order to maintain their coat’s health and minimize shedding. Regular brushing, bathing, and trimming are recommended for Bernedoodles in order to keep their coats healthy and looking their best.

Kelly is the newest addition to Allen’s Doodles. Next newest is Abby, whom we adopted as a puppy from the state of Washington. Cindy and Mindy are sisters. Cindy’s first litter of Mini Bernedoodles were sired by Diamond. Many of her puppies are Blue Merle Mini Bernedoodles. We plan to breed Mindy with Tucker for Standard Bernedoodles.
Males
Tucker is our own Standard Poodle here at Allen’s Doodles. Tucker is an AKC Registered 50 lb Standard Poodle. He has a wonderful and calm temperament. We are extremely happy with our Tucker puppies.
Ronald is a fantastic male that throws some of the nicest tri-colored bernedoodles out there. He has a charming temperment and absolutely loves children. Ronald is owned by a friend of ours that breeds our females for us. He throws such beautiful Tri-Color Mini Bernedoodles! Owners of our Ronald puppies are very happy with their dogs.

All of our dogs at Allen’s Doodles are genetically tested for health conditions such as hip and elbow dysplasia and genetic heart conditions. Although there is no way to be certain your pup will be completely free of disease or issues down the road, we use all the tools available for the best possible outcome!
